And the chorus heard was that of beasts..........over the hushed calm echoed the wolfsong

Chapter Two

The huff and puff of a snuffling horse woke him. The cold chill around the animal told Blade that is was his own horse- a beautiful but deadly looking stallion which was oddly named Wolf. Have you ever seen a wolf stand at the top of a hill or cliff, throw back its head and howl to the moon? Well this horse when first seen by Blade was stood at the top of a cliff, on its powerful hind legs and neighed a deep and bone shaking neigh. It had the mind of a stallion and the soul of a wild wolf. One that could never be tamed but Blade had somehow calmed.

A loud stomp told Blade that he should get up- before Wolf stomped right on his head. Rolling to the side he screamed in pain as shock waves of fire stabbed up his legs. Gripping at the edges of consciousness Blade clawed at the back of his leg. Wolf reared up in panic and nearly issued his promise of stomping on Blades head as his mighty hooves slammed back down onto the wet ground. Blades screams startled a nearby crow that spread its wings and flew over the top of the animal and its owner as quick as its wings would take it.

Something-or someone-else had been nearby, its attention also captured by the howls of pain. Wolf’s panic disappeared as the approaching footsteps were heard in his jet-black ears, which were now pinned against his head.

This is the finished first chapter, i know its short but get over it:

Chapter One

Green eyes are normally a sign of envy. But these green eyes were angry. Furious. Memories played back through his mind, memories repeated and repeated until it made him scream in anger with pain coursing through his head. Dark and cold memories…

Knees hitting the cold wet floor and mud squelching from underneath his feet he slapped his numb hands to the side of his face. Trying to make them go away, to make her go away. Staring, always staring at me, why won’t she stop?

Her face was a cold beauty, one that you would never challenge but still despise. High cheekbones with pale skin and golden hair gave the impression of a calm peaceful woman. You wouldn’t think that if you were the one that she…targeted.

Thunder rolled across the valley, lightening striking only feet away from Blades shivering body. He unclasped his hands from his head thinking for a moment that her presence had left his mind. But her words echoed not just within his head but within his very soul,

‘Close your eyes and look’

Blade didn’t know what she meant, he didn’t understand. Why confuse me so? He stood up as water pelted down from the unforgivable sky. Black hair covered his forehead and partly his bright, green eyes, although his deep sea green eyes were dimmed compared to when he was a young boy. How many years it has been since I was young? He could not remember

He has spent most of his life searching. Searching for…well Blade did not know quite what he was searching for but he knew he would know when he found it. That’s said about many things though isn’t it?

The black clouds seemed to calm slightly along with the stormy atmosphere lifting its pressure upon the cowering Earth. They had however, already swallowed the day but there were slight flickers of the moon shining through the flesh of the clouds. Tree’s were laden with water drops and seemed to sigh every time that the wind rustled their leaves. The grass rippled around the trunks of each tree and around Blades booted feet. Still on his hands and feet Blade heard the call of a lone wolf. But that call was cut short. Startled Blade stood up quickly but this used nearly all of his strength and a wave of unconsciousness swept over him, pulling him back down onto the ground as the calming storm flared once again. Thunder and lighting cracked bringing chaos to the world around the hardly conscious Blade. But Blade did not noticed; he was in his own little world where her face stared back at him forever more. She’s so beautiful…
